Accommodations:

The wedding may be celebrated in the sanctuary. The fireside room is available for the bride and the bridesmaids to prepare prior to the wedding. The fellowship hall or the pastor’s lounge may be used for the groom and the groomsmen to get ready prior to the wedding.

Music:

This is the responsibility of the bridal couple. However, we have several qualified musicians available for the wedding day festivities. Please let us know at the time of reservation if you are in need of musicians or equipment. If you plan to use recorded music, we have an Audio Visual Technician available. Want to live stream it? We can do that too.

Wedding Conduct:

The Center does not allow alcoholic beverages on the premises at any time. We also are also a non-smoking facility. While we understand the excitement and expect a celebratory feel, we expect a proper amount of reverence within the sanctuary.

Wedding Rehearsal:

A wedding rehearsal is included. The rehearsal lasts for about one hour and is generally held the day or evening prior to the ceremony, whenever it is most convenient for the wedding party. The wedding coordinator and pastor will direct the rehearsal.

License:

The wedding license is a function of the Dupage County Clerk’s office. The license from the county should be given to the Pastor prior to the wedding or at the rehearsal dinner.

Pre-Marital Counseling Sessions:

An important step in the preparation of your wedding will be premarital counseling sessions. We currently offer a three counseling sessions prior to the wedding. Each session comes with pre-reading prior to the session. The books required will be discussed at the initial meeting. If you choose another officiant, the persons being married must provide written documentation of completing premarital counseling.
